1. The vehicle driver submits his passport along with the vehicle ownership document to the customs officer. The international passbook is required for the Saudi Vehicles departing for the neighboring countries other than the GCC states.
2. The customs officer electronically records the data of the passport and the vehicle ownership document and verifies that an authorization is available in the following cases: rented vehicles and vehicles belong to the companies, corporations, and individuals. For the vehicles registered in the name of women, it is required to submit an authorization attested by the General Department of Traffic granted to the driver along with his valid driving license. The woman who owns the vehicle shall be accompanied in addition to the driver by an unmarriageable person (Mahram) upon departure.
3. The customs officer prints the exit processing card.
4. The driver receives the exit processing card and proceeds to the passport officer.
